Employee Benefit Plan Auditing

In providing assurance services, we impart more than an audit report. We use the information gathered during the engagement to provide ideas that help our clients increase operational efficiency, reduce the risk of fraud, stay informed on current employee benefit plan issues related to compliance, enforcement, and accounting.

We have a team of experienced professionals, instead of junior auditors with little or no experience, which have performed numerous employee benefit plan audits and have received annual continuing professional education on issues related to audits of employee benefit plans.

With the Department of Labor speculating that as many as 30% of employee benefit plan audits are deficient, our latest Department of Labor review resulted with no deficiencies found or additional action needed.

The type of plans that we audit include defined contribution, including 401 (K) and 403 (b), defined benefit plans, and health and welfare plans. We are also a member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.
